Year One as a Housecat

This past year has been a year of change for me, all for the better. Being adopted after being on the streets for a number of years has been the best blessing I have ever received. What a change of life: a soft bed, plenty of food and water, heat and air conditioning, and most importantly, a wonderful meowmie to love me. I have grown so much, both spiritually and physically. Spiritually, I have learned to love my adopted brother and sister, plus joined CLAW where I have learned to purr and serve. Physically, I have filled out wonderfully after being neutered and getting the proper nutrition.

Such blessings are not to be taken lightly, there are so many kitties on the streets, and I hope that each and every one of them may find a home like I have found. So many changes this past year, learning not to get worked up when a strange cat passes by in the yard. Realizing that food is always there, and not to wolf it down and spill it everywhere. Knowing the warm feeling of sleeping next to a warm meowmie, and the feeling of love. Such wonderful changes, and I am eternally grateful that I found my wonderful home, and have the opportunity to say thank you for my blessings.
