Changes This Year

This year has made the most significant changes in my life. The main thing I have learned is never take anything for granted anymore. Life is too precious and too short and you never know what could be lurking around the corner just waiting for you. It could be a good thing or unfortunately a bad thing. We just never know.

The world has changed a great deal since September 11 and it has made me look at everything in a much different way. I find I am more afraid now then I ever was before. The good thing is that it has made me more aware of my surroundings and who is around me at all times. I was always very aware before but now my awareness is heightened. I see things in a much different way too.

My wish is for the new year that's upon us to stop these terrorists and have everyone unite. I wish the best for the troops that are out their fighting for us all. I hope they are brought back safety and united very soon with their family and friends and most of all to stop the terrorists and punish those who are at fault.
