Our Holidays

How we spend our Holidays are a little different than most other places. We string lights on palm trees, and use lots of fake snow, Santa would wear shorts and an Hawaiian shirt rather than a heavy red suit. But we love Holidays just like everyone else, maybe even more cauz we live in Paradise. Well, that is what meowmie calls it. She loves the tropics, warm breezes off the ocean, palm trees that sway in those warm breezes, twinkling light on Palm trees, and neighbors riding their bikes while they sing Christmas carols. The meals are the same, turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce and fresh pumpkin pie, but we probably will eat it out on the Lanai, rather than in the dining room. That is where we keep our Christmas tree. Well it is there for two reasons really, one so we can't get at it when no one is home, and two because that is where we spend most of our time. I know it sounds a little funny to you northern kitties, but we like to sit on the screen porch, and meowmie loves to decorate it for the holidays, any holiday. Everyone can see it from the outside, and we can see it from the inside. So this Thanksgiving and Christmas, we will enjoy our southern holiday a little different than most.
