The Scared Girl

First let me introduce myself. I am Cosmo the cat and I live in a nice home with some really nice humans who are very good to me. I especially like the little human girl Samantha who plays with me all the time.

Samantha is a wonderful human and we get along great. She gives me lots of love and attention and plays with me a whole lot. There is one thing though that bothers Samantha a lot and I try and protect her from her fear as much as I can. Samantha is terrified of any kind of insect. She gets petrified if she sees an insect of any kind. Her worst fear is of the dreaded roach.

One afternoon I was outside just doing my usual cat thing which is taking a nap and lying in the sun relaxing. Samantha was not around, or so I thought. I figured she was out at a friend's house playing or something since she wasn't in my view. Suddenly out of no where I heard a scream. Oh no, it sounds like Samantha I thought. I ran to look and I followed the sounds I heard till finally I realized the screams are from Samantha! I couldn't find Samantha anywhere. I was meowing as loud as I could and running trying to find out what was wrong with my precious Samantha. Finally, I found her. She was in the back yard near the shed and you won't believe what I saw. My poor Samantha was surrounded by roaches! Immediately I began to chase after the roaches and make a safe path for Samantha to follow so that she could get away from them. Samantha was finally safe and she was petting me and I purred to reassure her she is safe and well and I will always be there to protect her.
