Winter Holidays

Holidays in the winter are always fun, but since we never know what kind of weather we will be having, we are always celebrating them in slightly different ways.

Thanksgiving is a given. It could be a warm sunny day, or cold and rainy, but we know we are going to get turkey, and a little whipped cream for dessert. And after dinner, and all the guests leave, we know we are going to get to take a nap with Mom! That's always nice!

Christmas is fun, regardless of the weather. We play tag under and around the tree, open all the presents, and I do mean all, and romp in the discarded papers. The humans usually leave about noon, but when they come home, they are laden down with goodies for us, and lots of tasty treats.

I love holidays! Everyone is smiling and happy, and I can get into all kinds of mischief without getting scolded! :-)
