Niko and Halloween

Niko is a beautiful Siamese who is easy going, loving and very affectionate almost always except on holidays such as Halloween. Although Niko loves people, he is fearful of children, living in a home where there are only two adults who move rather slowly and who speak rather calmly and quietly.

But on Halloween, with the constant knocking at the door, with the very loud and excited voices and little humans who are dressed up in very scary costumes jumping up and down, poor Niko, the gregarious outward going kitty turns into a nervous wreck and spends his time under the bed waiting for the excitement to die down. He waits for the loud voices and fast, heavy footsteps to cease before resuming his regular routine and joining his family. Once all is quiet, a nice warm lap is just the place he will jump into and will affectionately take a must needed respite
