Why Does Everyone Look So Forward to Summer?

It is hard for us to understand why everyone always looks so forward to Summer weather. Maybe it is hard for us because we live in Florida where it is bascially warm all year round and the leaves and flowers always seem to be in bloom.

We can understand why kids are happy for summer - because it means NO SCHOOL for TWO MONTHS - which must be a joyful thing to look forward to. That, we do understand. But the weather - that surely is a mystery to us!
