What I don't understand about summer

Well, I guess the bigest thing I don't understand about summer is why it doesn't last all the time. I love summer because the sun is always out and bright. There are lots of critters outside to watch out the window in the summer. Like butterflies and bugs and lots of birdies.

Also mommy usually gets to stay home more. And when they go on vacation in the summer, our Grammy and Grampy come and stay with us and then we really get the royal treatment.

I don't understand why it has to be so hot tho! We can't go out on the screen porch as much cuz we let the cold air that comes from the ceiling out and the hot air in. Of course in the winter it gets to cold and then it is the other way around.

Also it is my birthday in the summer time and we have lots of parties with the fireworks and pinics too. So I really think that even tho I don't understand a lot of the summer time I really do like it best.
