The Summer Mystery
By Baron Buster
Something was up ,but Amaya didn't know what it was. For days
she would see her brother Freddy talking to their friends Dandelion and
Pussywillow. They would look at her and smile and laugh.
No matter how long it would take Amaya was going to find
out what was going on. She would not be stopped. Not by any mystery!!!!!
The next day after breakfast her brother told her that he
found a pice of paper with her name on it in the catnip toybox. She ran to
the box and saw the paper with her name on it. Amaya picked up the
paper,it was a map. Who would give her a map? Why would anyone do it?
Amaya didn't know, but she would find out. Oh yes she would find out.
She turned to her brother to ask him if he knew any thing
about it,but he was gone so were her parents. What had happen to them
where did they go? Amaya knew that only the map could tell her that.
She started to read the map and to do what it said to
do. When said go right she would go right. When said go left she would go
left. No matter what it said she did.
At last the map led her Aunit Cat's house. Why did it do
that? She had to find out. Amaya went up the steps to front door. When she
got to the door it slowly opened. She could not see anything because it
was dark. Amaya did not want to go in but knew that she must.
When was in the hallway the door slammed shut. She was
alone in the dark. All at once the lights came on and there were all her
friends and family." Happy Birthday they called."
Then
when they pulled Amaya down from the ceiling they all had a good time.
Amaya knew that the mystery was over, but the fun had just started.
