What is it about Summer?

I can't figure out summer and what is so great about it. I notice all the humans are rushing around trying to find new places to go and visit. I hate when the humans leave so I am not at all happy with this idea. Why must they go away?? Can't they be purrfectly happy at home with me?

The other thing I hate about them leaving is that we have Hurricanes here and Tropical Waves in the summer so even though meowmie makes sure someone always checks on us I still hate it!!!! What if we get bad weather while they are gone?? I am such a scaredy cat I guess when it comes to summer. Personally, I prefer the humans to stay at home!!!!!
