Ode to Dylin (My bro who passed)
by Boomer
Febuary was sad,
Nothing but love to be glad,
Why, Dylin? It was the month we lost you.
You lie down on the floor,
You had dreams, then more,
And when you got up, you couldn't.You were paralyzed, in the back legs,
Like they were pinned down with spiked pegs,
What a terrible time,
Not worth a dime. When someone found you, you had to be put to sleep,
At least we had pictures and memories to keep.
Now you rest up in Rainbow Bridge...
Rest in peace, rest in peace...
