Magnificent Felines

Well, my favorite animal will be a familiar one to all of you, and that is the cat. All of the feline family in fact, including tigers, leopards and cougars. The wonderful grace and agility of all of the feline family is well known, and has been captured in so many wonderful paintings and photographs.

Purring is one of my favorite things about felines, it keeps those humans settled down, and is so comforting to them, and it just feels good to purr. The big cats purr too, and I would love to hear a purr from one of them.

The wonderful soft fur that is so much a part of the feline family is also something that makes felines my favorite animal. There is such diversity in color and texture, with coats ranging from the very short, almost non-existent of the Sphinx, to the lovely bushy full coats of the Maine Coon.

The felines also are well known for their cleanliness, and attention to grooming. As you can tell, I just love felines of all sorts! They are truly majestic creatures with so many fine attributes, that they are surely my favorite animal!
