Summer Holiday

As a Florida cat and living so near the shoreline, a summer holiday at the beach is surely one of fun, diversity and low cost too!

At the beach, you can sit on the sand and soak in the rays (with sunscreen, of course). Or you can go in the water and swim and splash and cool off. Or you can walk along the sandy beach enjoying the sights and smells and contemplate life and its mysteries in this wonderful natural surrounding.

Those who engage in more active pursuits can go surfing, water sking, skin diving or snorkeling. As for those who love to fish, many beaches also have piers and special designated fishing areas.

And don't forget the beaches that are on park grounds. There you and your family can have a picnic or even a barbeque right by the beach.

Yes, the beach is a place to rest, swim, surf, read, fish or just sit and watch the waves as they go in and out from sea to shore. The beach is truly one of the world's natural wonders.
