Our Summer Hoilday

We celebrate a Holiday called Independence Day which is on July 4 of every year. This Holiday upsets me a great deal. Let me tell you all about it.

First off the noises hurt my precious little ears. It sounds like a big booming sound and I get so scared I run and hide under a bed or go in a little corner somewhere. I shake and I tremble and I get petrified. The humans try and comfort me but it doesn't help. I just hate this Holiday. This Holiday which is known as Independence Day for the humans is of great importance to them which I understand but really does it have to be so noisy? The fireworks of course are pretty in the sky, this I will admit, but as far as the rest of it goes I really get upset. I pray for rain every year hoping these fireworks don't happen.

The one good part is the barbecue! Humans usually have a lot of barbecues on that day which of course means FOOD!!!!! If I am lucky I get to sneak a piece of food here and there which can be pretty YUMMY!!!

All in all I just tolerate this Holiday the best I can and let the humans celebrate and do there thing. I will be glad when July 4th is over and done with.
