There was a family that had 3 kitties, Charlie, Sally and the youngest, Simba. Simba loved both her brother and sister very much and they both loved her. Charlie and Sally didn't get along, although sometimes they would tolerate each other.

One day Simba asked her brother Charlie why he didn't like Sally. "Sally has always been bossy and things everything belongs to her. All the humans say how cute and sweet she can be."

Simba may be the youngest but she knew there were 2 sides to this story. Sally was sunning herself when Simba asked Sally why she and Charlie didn't get along. Sally said "When I came to live her, I was very, very tiny. I worshiped Charlie, I thought he was the greatest kitty around. I wanted to be just like Charlie. We'd play sometimes and have fun but other times he wasn't so nice to me. When I'd go walking by the table, he'd be sitting on top of the table and jump on me. Othertimes, I'd be walking by and he'd jump out in front of me and scare me. Meowmie and daddy always said what a handsome guy he was but he needed to act better with me".

After hearing the stories Simba realized why one would walk away if the other one was getting petted by meowmie. She's tried to pet both Sally and Charlie but they didn't like to share meowmie. They also wouldn't eat at the sametime or play together. Simba wished that everyone could play together and have fun!

One day Sally got sick, Simba was worried about Sally and suprisingly so was Charlie! Sally had to go to the vet for a few days and was missed by both Simba and Charlie. When Sally came home Simba stayed close to her the entire time.

One day while Sally and Simba were napping, Simba woke up and saw Sally and Charlie curled up together! Simba was happy as she know Charlie was starting to care about Sally.

A month later Charlie got very sick and everyone was very worried about him. Charlie was losing weight and getting smaller. Simba would groom Charlie all the time and stay near him. When meowmie and daddy took him to the vet, the came home and told the girls Charlie was very sick and would have to stay at the vet's. Simba was worried and she could tell Sally missed her big brother.

It was a happy day when Charlie came home! Like she did with Sally, Simba stayed near Charlie all day and all night.

One night when it was treat time, Sally picked her's up but didn't eat them. Instead she took them to Charlie so he could have her treats along with his own. Simba was happy to see that the 2 kitties that didn't like each other were showing that they cared for the other.

The day finally came when everyone was healthy! It was hard seeing Charlie and Sally both sick but good they learned to care for each other again. Now for the big test...to see if both Charlie and Sally would let meowmie pet them at the same time. Meowmie was watching TV while scratching Sally behind the ears. Simba thought this looked good so she joined meowmie and Sally and got her ears scratched. All that was needed was Charlie. He was sitting across the room watching all the activity. After awhile Charlie came up to meowmie, Sally and Simba to get his ears scratched. Simba wondered if Sally would leave. No, Sally didn't leave and Charlie didn't leave, everyone was finally together!

That night Charlie, Sally and Simba all ate dinner together then played chase through out the house. Simba got tired and layed down but with a smile on her furry face. It was good to have a home where everyone loves each other!
