Summer Holiday

The main summer holiday that gets celebrated is 4th of July. The human's like it but its not a good holiday for kitties.

Each year there is a really big (and loud) fireworks display at the Washington Monument. Sometimes meowmie and daddy go to the fireworks but alot of times they stay home and watch it on tv. When they are home, I watch the fireworks on TV with them. I lay on the floor in front of our big screen tv. I like watching all the different colors, watching things appear and disappear and the noise.

There is also music playing and i like listening to that. Sometimes I put my paw on the screen to try to trap a firework...it never works. Jazzy will sometimes watch with me but Bubba always hides.

Before and after the fireworks on TV, there are fireworks in our neighboorhood. I don't see anything but I can hear them. I sit in the windowsill sometime with Jazzy and listen to the noise. Sometimes while this happens we also hear fire engine noises but that noise isn't good because it means someone is hurt.

My favorite part of the 4th of July is breakfast...each year on the 4th of July we get real tuna!
