Ailurophobia
by Spyder
How could one be afraid of us cats?
Even when they know we mean no harm,
Their heart races, they sweat, and panic ensues
At the sight of a feline form. How could one be afraid of us cats?
Panic attacks, that feeling of dread,
Living in fear of seeing a cat,
We would almost rather be dead. How could one be afraid of us cats?
We purr so softly, and fur like mink,
The soft caress of a paw, a whisker kiss,
What a terrible phobia to have, we think!
