by MGD

Resume

Name: MGD
Residence: San Antonio, Texas
Qualifications: I have been dealing with diabetes for a year and a half, and have learned so much about this disease and treatments for it. I feel that I could help other diabetic cats learn to cope with this disease with my knowledge and personal experience. I also have compassion and have learned about the human side of dealing with a diabetic cat. I would be able to help the humans cope with their cat's diabetes also.

The Interview

Interviewer: Now, MGD, do you think you could really be helpful to diabetic cats? This is a totally new position, and you would be starting from scratch in this job, and would need to formulate all your own teaching aids and information.

MGD: Yes sir, I know I am the right kitty for this position. I started from scratch when I was diagnosed, and immediately started researching feline diabetes. I asked my vet, I read in my cat health books, searched the internet and have found out so much about feline diabetes. I also considered the toll on my meowmie, and have learned so much about dealing with the human side of this disease. The human has to make many sacrifices to keep a diabetic cat healthy, and I know I could help diabetic cats deal with their humans, and also help the humans deal with their diabetic cat. It would be a rewarding challenge to help diabetic cats deal with their diabetes in the best way possible.

Interviewer: You sound like the right cat for the job, and you sound very determined to help other diabetic cats.

MGD: Diabetes is a very bad disease, but it need not be a death sentence. Unfortunately feline diabetes seems to be on the rise, even as human diabetes is, so this job is very important. Learning more about how the disease progresses, new treatments and techniques for coping can only help cats who have been diagnosed, and keep them living with the best quality of life possible. I surely want this job, diabetes is very close to my heart, and I want to make sure every diabetic cat has the best chance for a happy life.

Interviewer: Concatulations MGD! You have the job!

MGD: Thank you sir!!! I will do my very best!!!
