Calla Lily

My furry fay-fur-ite flower is the Calla Lilly. It comes in all the shades of white, yellow, pink and red but my furry furry fay-fur-ite its one that is a furry light pastel yellow with a tinge of peachy orange at the top. My meowmie has tried to grow calla lillies in our yard, but two things are wrong with it. One is my meowmie is the "slayer" of houseplants. My Aunti Pu named her so. The other is that Calla's really do better in a little bit warmer climate. We can plant them outside here, but then you have to dig them up and bring them in for the winter. Meowmie wouldn't think to do such nonsense as that. Meowmie tried to grow them indoors one time too... but they died anyway. It's the slayer thing. So, we buy them at the florist, but not too often cuz they cost lots of tunas! Calla Lily's are a little bit famous because Georgia O'Keefe painted some back in the 1920's. Some of her Calla Lily paintings sold for $25,000!!! Now that IS a lotta tuna!
