Happy humans who love me;
 Only kitty that I am, I
 Match wits with the puppy and
 Escape to the waterbed, in the sun.

 I investigate the basement
 Scoping out the mice

 Behold!  A full food dish!
 Empty now, with tummy satisfied, I
 Settle on the window sill
 To watch the birds outside.
