Where I Would Like to go and Why

I think I would like to go to a cat show. I would like to be entered in one as a Maine Coon kitty. ( that is what I am)

Sometimes my older brofurs and sisfurs talk about "the good old days" when they traveled to cat shows. They tell us about traveling in the car, being able to look out of the window at all of the wonderful sights. Houses, animals, cars, even trains, were just some of the things that they saw. They tell us young'uns how they won prizes, ribbons, and lots of treats at the shows.

I do not know if I would like the bath that goes before all of the traveling, but I am a little dirty. Being wet and soapy does not appeal to me too much. I hear that the hair dryer is no fun, either. It takes a good hour, sometimes more, to get the coat dry, so I would have to be very patient.

To travel in the car and see things that I have never seen before would be awesome. Imagine to be able to see a train! I hear that it sounds really loud. Woooo, wooooo!

The best part would be to see all the beautiful cats at the show. Persians, Siamese, Russian Blues, other Maine Coons, longhaired kitties, shorthaired kitties, tall ones, thin ones, fat ones, oh, my! One of my sisfurs says that the cages are decorated with lovely colored cloths that hang down over the wires. Some of the cats have their own pillows and special bowls from which to eat. I would love to be pampered like that.

I would like to be carried up to the judge and let her look me over while I play with the toy she has for me. What fun! Maybe I might even win a ribbon. Some of my older siblings have won huge rosettes for being the best kitty. I would like that, too.

On the way home, I would be so tired from such an exciting day, that I would probably be sleeping... Oh, well, a kitty can dream.....
