Where I Live

I live in sunny South Florida, in Fort Lauderdale, to be exact. Most of the time it is sunny except during rainy season and hurricane time which commenced June 1.

My family lives in a condominum, in Sunrise, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. We are actually in an annexed area of the City of Sunrise - with Weston and Davie at our boundaries.

Because we live in condo, and reside on the second floor, I don't have the use of a backyard, but I do have a lovely screened in porch where I am allowed to go outside and get fresh air and look at the trees and flowers below. My brother and sister and I love it out there! But in the summer, the temperature can reach in the 90's and the humidity can be almost 100%. At that time, it sometimes is too hot for us to enjoy the great outdoors!

We love where we live. It is quiet and away from the congestion of the big City. It is a nice place for cats, dogs and children, too.
