A day in the live of a CLAW kitty

We start our day our very early at our house. It is my
job to make sure Meowmie gets up when the alarm goes
off at 4:30 am. Sometimes it doesn't go off at all,
and I do everything in my power to get her up, I
pounce on her, dig on the blanket, poke my nose in her
face, sprawl all over her.... just everything, until
she gets out of the bed, usually grumbling something
about day off, no respect, that sort of thing.

Then it is on to the kitchen to help make coffee,
supervise the bath, dressing the human and breakfast.
All this takes about an hour, then I usher her out the
door and take a well deserved nap. Later in the day
she is back home again, and I always meet her at the
door, give her lots of kissies and even let her pet me
for a while, just to make her feel better you
understand.

After supervising the meal and dishes I make sure that
my treats are ready for our computer time and urge Mom
into the room so we can start our nightly adventure in
CLAW. We check our mailboxes, hers and mine. I usually
have more mail than meowmie does so we spend more time
with it than we do with hers. Tonight Jessie joined a
new group and they blew up the email box...... that is
right, blew it right up. Took mom and me forever to
get all that email out of there so we could use it
again. 

Mom has a little perch for me right next to the
keyboard so that I can help her do whatever it is that
needs to be done. Jessie spends more time than I do on
the computer. She really hogs it, especially when it
is award time or Zine time, then she is on for hours,
but we get our time, Mom and me, together on the
computer. She has a little tray that she puts my
treats on, I never know from one day to the next what
treat I will get, but I always get my Kissers too.

When we get done on the puter, then it is into the
living room to watch some tv or read a good book, then
off to bed we go. That is sometimes very stressfull.
Right has decided he needs to put Meowmie to bed every
night, now that was always Jessie's job, so the first
guy to get there gets the job. As soon as he is done,
I curl up into my favorite spot and we go to sleep. I
am a cuddler, and fortunately for me so is meowmie. So
it is very pleasant to sleep with her, until the alarm
goes off and we start all over again.
