I am so thankful....

I am so thankful that I live with the family that I do. My life could have been so different if meowmie hadn't taken a shine to my little bitty self. I am pampered, loved and I feel very safe and happy.

I guess you can say that I am a slow starter. It takes me a while to decide to do things, like go out on the porch by myself, took me two years to do that, and leave meowmie's side, well.....we are still working on that.

But it is getting near the holiday season again, and really, we do have so much to be thankful for. We have our health, happiness and family. This year my meowmie has suffered sickness, surgery, deaths, possible unemployment if her company closes, and just about any thing that could go wrong did go wrong, but through it all, she had us, and we all did what we could to cheer and support her and she did the same for us.

We are a family, and family sticks together. We support, love and cherish each other, and in turn we should also help and support thoes less fortunate than us, because you never know when that could be you.

Today you have a home, but tomorrow, poof, it could be gone, and you could be the homeless one. So take a minute to say a few purrs of thanksgiving, put out a little dish of food for Mr. Straycat, and give your meowmie a really big HUG.
