My D*ggy Friend

My recently acquired human has a lot of redeeming qualities, but she has a few faults I intend to correct in time.

One of the most annoying is her strange affection for this annoying little creature she calls 'Sparky'. That is not what I call him, but we won't go into that just now.

He is a yappy little dog, pale beige, covered with curly hair, and rather cute as far as looks go. Having said that, I have said all that is good about him. He is a nuisance!!

He has the disposition of an enraged rottweiler, he growls at my humans, whenever they try to get him dressed up in his little coat to go out for a walk. I would never think of doing such a thing!!

Then he will snap and try to bite the very nice lady that comes here to clip his coat. The d*ggy hair dresser lady trys to help him look nice, she even puts ribbons in his hair and gives him little d*ggy treats, but he just doesn't appreciate her kindness. Yet everyone seems to forgive him and makes a fuss over him for no reason I can fathom.

He eats my food at every opportunity, takes over my favorite sleeping spots, and gets jealous when the humans pay attention to me.

One time, when I was new here, I had an accident when I mistook a pile of dirty laundry downstairs for a litter box, and yes, he just HAD to go and snitch to the humans!!

Another time, he ran and told the human that I had managed to escape into the night for a breath of fresh air. She never would have found me (it is SO funny watching a human trying to find a black cat in the dark of night!!) except that fool of a dog had to sniff me out and show her where I was hiding.

I really envy you kitties that have kitty companions, as I said, all I have is this demented poodle to write about.
